The Marshal Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship
The Marshal Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Kielce is an auxiliary institution for the Board and the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Currently, it consists of 20 departments and supervises many regional institutions responsible for such domains as: health, culture, transport infrastructure, education and local heritage. While performing their duties the Marshal Office’s departments cooperate with the Regional Assembly and the Board of the Voivodeship, the regional institutions subject to the voivodeship, state and local authorities as well as social and economic organizations.
The departments are responsible for drafts of dispositions acts, regulations, internal instructions and resolutions of the Regional Assembly and the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. They also conduct administrative procedures and prepare drafts of official decisions, contracts and agreements.
In order to prepare the voivodeship’s budget accurately and have constant supervision over its implementation, all of Marshal Office’s departments must cooperate with the Voivodeship’s Treasurer. They also initiate cooperation with international organizations and regional governments from other countries.
