The discussion on youth policy and the promotion of social activity and non-formal education among young people was the main topic during the international meeting with the participants of the “Cities for YOUTH” project implemented by the Starachowice Commune under the Erasmus+ Program in partnership with the City of Santar in Portugal, Klaipeda in Lithuania, and non-governmental organizations – Institute of Research & Training on European Affairs IRTEA from Greece and ACD LaHoya from Spain.

The 7th edition of European Rover Challenge, the biggest space & robotics event in Europe, approaches rapidly. During 10-12 September, on the site of Kielce University of Technology, teams can compete both in on-site and remote formulas. There will be lectures on flights to Mars, the Moon commercialization and the usage on Earth the technologies dedicated to space exploration. The world’s largest active Martian volcano will appear at the track in Kielce – capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.

European Days of Archeology will be held on June 18-20 in Museum for Cultural Dialogue, branch of the National Museum in Kielce.

Youth Men’s and Women’s World Boxing Championship – this unique international event organized for the first time in Poland, will soon take place in Kielce. The Self-government of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, supporting the Championship’s organization, at the same time, would like to promote nature, tourism and culture values of the region.

On March 31, 2021, the annual meeting of representatives of Eastern Poland regions, joined in common representation in Belgium, took place. The Świętokrzyskie region was represented by Anna Kucharczyk, deputy director of the Department of Investments and Development of the Marshal Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Kielce.

A new cycling guide of the Świętokrzyskie region, containing an offer of 25 trails  of different difficulty,  has been published as an element  of cooperation of the Marshal Office and the Tourist Publishing Company “Compass”. Everyone can find there something for themselves – cycling beginners, families with children as well as enthusiast of more challenging routes. While following the described trails we can also reach the most interesting sites of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
